Sunny spring weather creates the perfect occasion for safe, socially distanced outdoor events.

Crozet Spring Art FestivalThe Festy Music Festival will be hosting outdoor concerts at Charlottesville’s Chisholm Vineyards on various dates from April to June. Enjoy local, regional, and national bands from the comfort of your own reserved pod, or, livestream the concerts from home!

The Annual Crozet Spring Arts and Crafts Festival is back for 2021! Enjoy this perfect Mother’s Day Weekend activity on May 8th and 9th at the Claudius Crozet Park. Over 120 Artists and Exhibitors will be featuring unique handmade and handcrafted works of art.

Kids Activities:

We’ve all been cooped up this winter and no-one has felt it more than the kids! Spring finally brings the opportunity for them to get outside, release all that pent up energy, and enjoy some activities and events just for them.

The IX Art Park in Charlottesville will host their Mermay event on Saturday, May 22nd. Landlubbers of all ages will love this explosion of under-the-sea fun! The event will feature street performers, food trucks, seashell crafts and a nautical photo booth.

On June 5th, saddle up for the quirky riff on horse racing season with IX Art Park’s Hobby Horse Derby. This all-ages derby turns stick horses into the mighty steeds that will take you to the finish line as you compete in racing or dressage.

At Wildrock in Crozet, visitors can enjoy an engaging variety of play and discovery zones nestled throughout the Blue Ridge foothill landscape. Wildrock also offers six sessions of nature immersion Summer Day Camps, with dates from June 28th to August 13th.
